  Title: Gradient Legends and Hawaii
Data: various USGS and BTS vectors with a DEM underlying
Details: The auto-legend shows theme-mapped hypsography, the color layer of the DEM, and a sample from the center of the Space Shuttle Astronauts' photo of the Kilauea region
     
 

Title: Middle East Elevations
Data : GTOPO30 DEM - E020N40 and Digital Chart of the world national boundaries and rivers.
Details: Custom color palettes on elevation makes colorful imagery not too divergent from plant growth and other features (such as the blue oceans) from the real world.

     
 

Title: Grand Teton Valley
Data : Space Shuttle Color image and 8 meter grayscale DOQQ subsample with vector overlays - park boundary (green), roads (red), hydrology (blue), USGS DEMs
Details: NASA space shuttle photo was combined  using transparency with 8 meter resampling of black and white DOQQs and draped with vector data over a mosaic of USGS DEMs.

     
 

Title: Chromadepth View in View
Data : San Francisco Bay area SPOT photo, USGS DEM
